Mel Shooting His Last Blood Father Scenes

Mel Gibson is shooting some of his last scenes for Blood Father in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Could be a mild SPOILER here, so beware.

Mel was taken from a real jail cell where he was filming scenes as father of his 16 year old daughter who is the target of drug dealers.  This could be a spoiler (pictured) but since Mel is playing an ex convict, I’m guessing this scene is from the opening where Mel is released and for whatever reason, they filmed it towards the end.

Blood Father comes from Jean-François Richet, the director of Mesrine: Killer Instinct (manly movie) and the writer of The Town (manly movie), Peter Craig.  Craig, by the way, is also writing Bad Boys 3.
