Stallone Hoping For Two More Expendables Films

The Expendables 3 is having its UK premiere today.  Sylvester Stallone, lead star, has been speaking about the movie and the possible expansion of the series.

He tells WENN, “We’d like to just continue this because it’s an ongoing experiment. We have great franchises with the (superhero movie) Avengers and all these situations where they branch off and do other things. I’d love to see some of these characters… all do their own movies, I know that may be a pipe dream, where they come together for the big festival of violence, but that would be the idea. It all depends on this one but I could definitely see one maybe two more and then… you never know.”

A female Expendables spin off is still in the works, as Avi Lerner (producer) confirms: “We are finalizing the script. We’ve got loads of ideas who is (sic) going to be the action movie star ladies and we plan to do it (at the) beginning of next year.”
