Studio Pisses In Terminator 5 Soup: PG-13 Confirmed
When Terminator: Genisys comes out, instead of going to see it you might instead consider it a nice night for a walk. The thing is going to be PG-13. That’s what Jai Courtney, who is playing Kyle Reese, has said this week in an interview. “I would love to see it be rated R, but I don’t think it will. I think in this day & age, it’s much more likely to be PG-13. There were no f-bombs. But there’ll be a healthy amount of movie violence.” I guess for a start, the T-1000 that is supposedly appearing in the movie will not be stabbing anyone?
And now, time for a Jim Cameron quote. The soup has been pissed in. We are a long way it seems from waiting ’till things are just right and the stars align, as it was with Terminator 2, to getting a financially lucrative reboot out there, quality and fans be damned. In fact even before this revelation – and I’m sure Courtney will catch a mouthful for giving this information away – I was already starting to think that this trilogy idea is marketing bullshit. But that’s for another article, tomorrow.

ProBoards shitcanned the old forum. They pointed at the off topic section, I’m guessing their reason was that it was politically incorrect (there was nothing offensive in there TBH), but I have suspicions that they used a vague excuse to just delete something taking up server space. They have two or three ads per forum, my suspicion is that if those ads don’t cover the cost of a particular forum, they delete it using a grey area part of their rule charter.
I expect to be online less and if something is officially tied to the forum I like to keep an eye on it so for a while I’d just rather things were simplified on that front. I hope the ‘old guard’ stays together/active though.
I had a plan to launch a new forum when ProBoards fucked us from my own server, where nobody can dictate to me and I am in control of it, my idea was to integrate the forums and comments section to increase the activity of both. It can be done, but I’m in a ‘fuck it’ mood for that whole thing right now.
Maybe early in the new year or something, I dunno.

Why do they want to destroy the heritage of one of the greatest films ever made?! Wasn’t a PG13 EX3 disheartening enough? Shit, I can’t believe I have now lived long enough to remember ‘the good old days” of my youth and compare it to the crap we have now. Depressing. But yeah, FOREIGN ACTION, dudes. Hollywood has really become a pile of steaming BS.
