Thanks to our pal Sergei for checking in with these. Here is the first look at Mel Gibson in his upcoming action/thriller ‘Blood Father’.
Mel plays an ex-con who reunites with his estranged, wayward 16-year old daughter, and vows to protect her from the drug dealers who are trying to kill her. That’s a tried and test formula for manly movies… but adding in the GOAT? Sign us on. Even better though, the movie will be directed by ‘Mesrine‘ and Assault on Precinct 13 helmer Jean-François Richet. The two Mesrines in particular were good manly movies, don’t deprive yourself of those just because they’re not in English.
This film was also written by Peter Craig, who penned heist thriller ‘The Town‘. All signs so far then point to something special.
These are kinda ‘off screen’ but still, you can check out the tone somewhat anyway.

Sounds cool, I’ll be sure to check this one out. I liked both the Mesrine movies, and The Town was great as well.

I think they mean his beard, like a goatee perhaps lol. There are no goats in the film tee hee.

I don’t really think that’s what they meant. I don’t see an actual goatee here, and what’s so great about a dude with a goatee anyway?…

Good to see Mel bustin’ heads again. Get The Gringo and Edge of Darkness are underrated. Love the site It’s badly needed in this feminized, metrosexualized, homosexualized ruined culture of ours but might I suggest some emphasis on legendary movie hardmen like Marvin , Mitchum , Bronson..I know everyone here loves Stallone and Schwarzennegger but I always thought their cartoon ultra violence did the cause some harm. They make us look like chimps. Oddly enough I feel the much maligned Sabotage is one of Arnie’s better flics . Bad dialogue but smartly directed and the Austrian Oak is terrific in it. He even looks a bit like Lee Marvin .

Yes, more Bronson, Wayne etc will further be appearing on the site. Good to have a new reader.

Cheers mate. BTW Mesrine 1&2 are a great recommend. Loved them both. The French used to have some great sourpuss tough guys like Jean Gabin and Lino Ventura. They have been damaged like the rest of us but they are still a little behind the curve on PC so if you look hard enough you will still find some decent old school mayhem. Check this one out before it gets pulled.

agreed re: EX3 – which is why I dont understand why Gibson was put up for a Razzie. He and Banderas were the only good actors in that flick. They made everyone else look terrible in comparison and he gets a Razzie? smh.

1) Admit to drug dealing & shooting people cause that was just the way it was in da hood = Forgiveness in Hollywood
2) Admit to child molestation or presumed to like way underage minors = Forgiveness & understanding in Hollywood. ( Go & post a comment on an X – Men news article on the web that Bryan Synger has been known to like young men around town & you will get dozens, plus dozens of hatefull replies wishing death upon u!)
3) Mel makes a movie about Christ, that is good,.that makes hundreds of millions of dollars, but gets drunk, says Jews are responsible for wars & says “sugar tits” , *that’s it! * = Banned from Hollywood & is portrayed as a monster in the media , turned to Public Enemy #1 & years after the fact, they keep dragging his name thru the mud.
4) Mel did not deserve that shit.
Sheeplike haters⤵

Love the pics. More please! Cant wait for this movie to come out. Mel’s one of my favorite talents – and I’m also very impressed at what a classy survivor he has proven to be in rebuilding his life after experiencing personal failures and hardships.
