Saban Films Picks Up Travolta Revenge Thriller

Saban Films has picked up the North American rights to John Travolta‘s action-thriller I Am Wrath, directed by Chuck Russell (The Mask, Scorpion King).

Hannibal Classics struck the deal with Saban at the Cannes film market, where a teaser and other promotional materials were touted to buyers.

The movie actually being directed by Chuck Russell (“Eraser”) and Travolta will play a man out for vigilante justice after a group of corrupt cops are unable to catch his wife’s killer.

Michael Mendelsohn, Nick Vallelonga and Richard Salvatore are producing the film, which Paul Sloan wrote based on a story by Yvan Gauthier. Production is expected to start in March in Columbus, Ohio.  Travolta may well hope that this proves to be his “Taken”.

Nice and dark, as it should be for the premise.  Below is a new poster… the photoshopping is almost as bad as the Terminator: Genisys posters.

*Any movie that features a guy out for vigilante justice i got to watch.
    *I like Chuck Russell.
“The Blob” & “Nightmare on Elm St. 3” are 2 fuckin horror movies i watched lime crazy when i was a kid. Very fond of them both.
“Eraser” with Arnold was hella cool.
    & of course “The Mask”.
Always felt he should’ve directed more movies.

It’s amazing some of the directors who’ve done Elm Street movies. Dream Warriors is my favorite after the original.

I love the Elm st. Series.
#2 was kinda weak. But love 1,3,4,5
        Dream Warriors was fuckin great!
Along with the great Dokken song.
        Renny Harling did part 4.
        Stephen Hopkins did part 5
        Part 6 was weak & i think
new nightmare directed by craven was a bit ahead of its time ( b4 “scream” that is)

Shameful photocrapping. How is it in any way excusable?

All the elements have potential, but then they have to roll out another shitty poster. This looks like a video game still from GTA, horrendous.
