Tom Cruise To Head CIA Thriller
Tom Cruise is headed back into serious territory for a new CIA crime thriller.
The Hollywood star is expected to add some pounds to his frame to play pilot-turned-CIA agent Barry Seal in the upcoming manly movie. “He is determined to do whatever it takes to pull it off,” a source said to the Daily Star.
Seal, who smuggled drugs and guns for Colombian gangsters before becoming a spy, was known as ‘Fat Man’ by his CIA handlers and supposed cartel allies. He was murdered by the Medellin cartel in February 1986.
A senior executive at Universal Pictures, which is producing the film, added: “He’s determined to become Barry Seal. Tom believes it’s the only way he can do justice to an incredible script and he has been meeting director Doug Liman to discuss how he intends to play him.”

Im a Cruise fan.the dude has always made good movies.

I appreciate he still gives a fuck.
Doesnt work on a DTV movie for a day for a dollar.

& IMO “Jack Reacher” is a bit underrated.

I can take him or leave him. Edge of Tomorrow was quite good, but the sci-fi he did before that was a fucking bore-fest. I didn’t like Reacher either. If it hadn’t been for Werner Herzog I’d have walked out well before it finished. Oh, and the scene where he banged those two guys’ heads together was good. And the blonde woman’s tits were nice. Apart from those three things I hated it. As for the Mission Impossible films I’ve never got on with them.
