Sam Raimi’s television follow-up to the cult horror classic The Evil Dead is starting to gain a bit more traction. The first trailer is online for the 10-part TV series.
God damn, that’s a lot of blood.
Synopsis: Ash has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead until a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind and Ash becomes mankind’s only hope.
This series was preceded by Army of Darkness. Ash Vs. Evil Dead will get a Halloween 2015 debut. It’s good to see Bruce Campbell back, this stuff could be gold…

Thank god Bruce Campbell could come back and play an older grizzled version of Ash Williams again. Hope it goes well on starz and comes to netflix. I would have loved to see a sequel to army of darkness but this’ll do for now. Hail to the king baby! It sucks that Kurt Russell can’t come back and return as an older grizzled version of Snake Plissken. If sly can do rocky and Rambo and Arnold can do Conan and terminator and Bruce Willis can do john McClane again, harrison ford can do Indiana jones, Han Solo, and Rick Deckard again, then so can Kurt Russell.
