The Expendables Trilogy Getting Special Edition Release

The Expendables trilogy is already out on Blu-Ray but if you’re a super fan, especially if you live in Germany, then you might want to check out the new release by Splendid.  Not much is known about this release at this stage but what is known is that the set will be released on the 27th of November.

The set will include a bust of Sylvester Stallone/Barney Ross and will include steel book packaging of some sort.  So perhaps if you haven’t bought the movies on Blu-Ray yet or have not upgraded to Blu-Ray, maybe this is one to hunt down – assuming it features English audio of an acceptable standard.

An Expendables 4 is still planned, or at least it was as of earlier this year.  A TV series is also in the works.  As we see with this release, there is obviously more milk to be drawn from the name so even if a theatrical movie isn’t planned, a small DTV movie is the least to expect.
