McTiernan Removed As Red Squad Director? – ManlyMovie

McTiernan Removed As Red Squad Director?

JOHNMCTIERNANIt looks like things are not getting any better for John McTiernan, possibly the best director of them all.  After he was locked down in a North American gulag, they apparently weren’t happy enough with that and are not only trying to go for his house but also, apparently, the black listing of the man continues.  For a while, he was listed as the director of Red Squad, a movie almost in vein of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Sabotage.

Script troubles fostered delays and, apparently, rumours of McTiernan no longer being the director are confirmed.  Per the movie’s official page, the director is now ‘to be determined’.  His name was listed there previously.

So what now for John McTiernan?  I’m not really sure.  He may have moved solely to the action/thriller Warbirds, to star John Travolta.  This movie is being used by his lawyer to argue against foreclosure, but the line has gone silent on that movie too.  By the way, McTiernan said that yes, he would direct an Expendables movie… if the script was cool.

He should direct die hard 6 and not Len the fag Weismann. They should go back to the japan script and get Arnold Schwarzenegger as a Gruber or as john matrix since originally die hard was a sequel to commando and retooled. Hell, Schwarzenegger was considered to play john McClane, as well as Mel Gibson, Harrison Ford, and Sylvester Stallone. John Mctiernan is the logical choice to direct die hard. I won’t watch die hard 6 if it’s not done right. Plus it would be the third time working with Arnold, Sam Jackson and Bruce Willis.
