Crews Casts Doubt On Expendables 4 – ManlyMovie

Crews Casts Doubt On Expendables 4

crewsIt may not have been the towering negativity following the third movie that threatens ‘The Expendables 4’ so much as it might be positivity elsewhere.  Sylvester Stallone pulled a dud with The Expendables 3, but appeared in a good movie known as Creed.

Hell, he took awards and shit.

Now, TMoney has cast doubt on a fourth movie, well, Stallone’s participation at least.  According to SlashFilm;

Crews has not spoken to Stallone about it. However as a friend, and seeing Stallone as a mentor, Crews would support Stallone pursuing post-Creed options and leaving The Expendables franchise to the other Expendables.

“I’m just thinking he’s got options now,” Crews said. “As well he should. He should think about what his next move is going to be, what he’s going to do. Creed was amazing, amazing. It showed his depth and he’s a lot deeper than people always give him credit for.”

You think The Expendables is done?  No way!  There’ll be a fourth movie, simply because the name is now profitable. Now whether that means a fourth movie in theaters is another thing.  But if you ask me we’ll be seeing Avi Lerner pumping out ‘Expendables’ stuff ’till the day he dies.

Expendables 9 on VOD with 39 second Mr. Church cameo, anyone?

    I still think expendables 4 can be saved only if they do it right by way of a good story, they kill off some expendables like some of young kids get killed as well as 2 of the old guys like Randy couture and jet Li and maybe Stallone too. They need to make it hard r like a conspiracy thriller since some of the action heroes of the 80s and 90s and 2000s did conspiracy movies before expendables and are no stranger to that. More 80s and 90s badasses appear like Michael Douglas, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Jack Nicholson, Clint Eastwood, Tommy Lee Jones, Jeff Bridges, kurt Russell, Ron Perlman, Danny trejo, nick chinlund, michael Madsen, Tom Sizemore, John Travolta, Nicolas Cage, michael Ironside, Peter Weller, rutger Hauer, John Malkovich, Andy Garcia, Michael Keaton, Michael Dudakoff, michael Biehn, james Spader, Bryan Cranston, Alec Baldwin and his brothers, etc. Harrison Ford should be the bad guy pulling the strings for Dwayne Johnson’s character. Bruce Willis and Mickey Rourke return as church and tool as well as Kelsey Grammer as Bonaparte and Jean Claude Van Damme as Claude Vilain the twin brother of Jean Vilain in the second one.

      Basically they need an old school director like John Mctiernan, John woo, paul Verhoeven, richard Donner, William Friedkin, etc. Friedkin especially cause he did the French connection, the hunted which you guys on manly movie loved and reviewed, to live and die in LA which I’ve telling Stallone to watch to get an idea on how to make expendables 4 right, jade and blue chips. I also forgot ray Liotta and Robert Patrick as well as steve Buscemi, Giancarlo Esposito, Jonathan banks, Dean Norris, Laurence Fishburne, who have worked with some of the expendables before.

    Hulk hogan, Brian Bosworth, jeff speakman, Steven Seagal, christopher lambert, tom berenger, Armand assante, Jean Reno, Tommy Flanagan, Kevin Costner, Kim Coates, Mark Boone jr. would also be great in an expendables movie.

    Call me a broken record but I think “Rocky Balboa” should have gotten a lot of praise “Creed” is getting.
    Still..I am happy for Stallone. Hope he gets the Oscar. At the end of the day, he’s done tons of movies we have loved.

    Expendables was always shit.A wasted opportunity. Watched The Wild Geese again ,a far from perfect movie but so much better than anything in Expendables.
