Stallone Toning Down Rocky For Creed II?

A seminal part of Creed was the mentor role played by Rocky Balboa himself.  However since this is a ‘Creed’ series after all, how much will Rocky himself be a thing in the future?

Sylvester Stallone was at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival last night to accept the Montecito award, and while he was there, someone asked him about Creed II. Here’s what he said, according to Variety:

“I really have mixed feelings about this, seriously,” he said. “I feel like Rocky, at the end of this movie on the steps, with the help of a young man, and he looks out and says, ‘From here, you can see your whole life’ — it sort of summarizes the whole thing. I don’t know how much further you can push Rocky.”

Makes you wonder if Stallone will slip back into a producer position or something.  Probably not, just a strong cameo next time maybe?

Sly should focus on fixing up expendables 4 for us fans to make up for the crappy pg13 passing the torch to young blood bullshit sequel which is expendables 3. He should die in expendables 4 along with the young kids and jet Li and Randy couture. Arnold or Wesley snipes or Jason Statham could take over and be team leader. Only after that he can do dramatic roles after that like a sequel to cop land or something. Leave rocky alone. You said Rambo was finished so is rocky, sly.

“Rocky Balboa” was better than “Creed”

He should get the Oscar & call it a day.
I would have given him one for Rambo 4

I see no point of more Rocky movies to be honest. Sly actually has some knowledge of action cinema, so maybe he should dedicate himself to the director job, as Clint did.
