The Nice Guys Gets Retro Trailer

I gotta be honest, I’m more anxious to get ‘Nice Guys’ out of the way just so we can let Shane Black get moving on his new Predator movie, but even so this looks kind of interesting.  The new trailer can be seen above in 1970s format.

Black tells People, “It is an R-rated film and it’s a caper…It’s a little fast, a little funny and a little rough in places, kind of coarse. These guys are working-class dudes, they’re not really sophisticated private detectives, so it’s a chance to do the kind of thriller I don’t see too much of anymore… Whether this thing is a comedy with action or a thriller with jokes, one thing that’s very clear is these two are extremely funny. People will enjoy seeing the two of them.”

Outline: In 1970s Los Angeles, a down-on-his-luck private eye (Ryan Gosling) and his tough partner (Russell Crowe) investigate the disappearance of a girl and the death of a porn star
