Craig Has Not Left Bond… Yet

bond

We heard this week that Daniel Craig turned down an offer to appear in two more Bond movies.  However according to the BBC, this is not the case.

The British news service has independently confirmed that Daniel Craig hasn’t yet decided on whether he wants to do another 007 film. That is according to their own “separate, authoritative Bond sources” who also add that “no decision is likely to be made for a while”.

Well, considering that the deal was touted as $68 million, even for a guy who could have retired long ago, maybe it’s understandable.  Or to make a less educated guess, a contractual issue?  Anyway I’m bored of Craig’s Bond.  Never enticed me in the first place if I’m honest.

I don’t like the word being used too often but… reboot.

Craig was never a real Bond imo. The last Bond film to me was Die Another Day (thou it was quite bad). I just hope the Craig era is gone and they can find someone new and continue just as they did in the good old days. Stop the reboot shit.

I like Craig as Bond…However it’s his “this is the hardest job in the world!” attitude that gets on my fucking nerves.
At the end of the day, he acts like he’s Bond all the fuckin time, when he has done 4 Bond movies in 10 years. That’s plenty of time to do either tons of other shit or just sit in your ass & not do shit at all.
If I got paid millions of dollars to go to a location, pretend to be a spy & make out with Monica Bellucci… you will have to drag me out of that fucking movie set!!
    I would be a 90 year old Bond popping Viagra…no fucks given😁

Roger Moore made seven Bond films within 13 years, not an easy task. He was offered one more but declined because he felt he was bedding gals half his age on-screen. If his Bond lacks the tough, dangerous edge of most Bonds, he sure wasn’t slouching off with the ladies.

        Moore got mad pussy.
& he always came across like he loved the character & loved to play him. He was the least tough lookin of the bunch but I enjoyed him none the less. I think his last Bond movie “A View to a Kill” was a cool one.
        Gotta love Duran Duran📀🎶👍

This though… showed he can indeed be tough when called for it. Much needed after Moonraker’s silliness.

Roger Moore was an old school lounge lizard playboy. Good booze. Cool cars. Fine hotels. The best women…..and no apologies .Those were the days.

I loved the cheese-fest that was “Moonraker” hahaha
I used to watch that movie so many times as a kid.
Moments like that clip made Bond badass but in a couple of fight scenes, where he had to go hand to hand fighting, mano a mano, wasnt his strong suit at times. But that scene was badass. I have all the Bond movies on DVD, i am a fan of the series.

Some great stuff in Moonraker…all the pre-credits set up ( space shuttle hijack, exploding 747, Bond getting shoved out of the plane) ,John Barry’s soundtrack is one of his best with a great theme song and I love the outer space fantasy finale. It also has the “attempting re-entry” joke. Take out the hovergondola and you improve the film ten fold. Moore even manages to do a bit of acting when he gets released from the G force simulator.

The life this dude must have had. Gotta respect him.
Have you read his book..i haven’t
I have read a couple of favorable reviews. They say its a fun read.
He’s 88 years old now & has a bit of diabetes but luckily he still with us.

He was way too old (and looked it) for at least 3 or 4 of them. It got a bit creepy. Live & Let Die and Spy Who Loved Me were by far his best Bonds.

If he turns down £68m for two flics he is a fool. He has done little to capitalize on his tenure as Bond. No interesting small movies. No personal projects. He’s hardly worked at all . I think he’ll be fucked without Bond. ..But if you dislike Craig as 007 wait until you see Tom Hiddleston in the part. He will be dire. A girly Bond. It seems we are not allowed to have any more Connerys…Only twinks or blacks. We’re lucky they don’t give it to Bruce Jenner.

Idris Elba was ‘too street’ apparently. I think he would have cracked some heads, he has the charm, class and charisma to pull off a good Bond. They should’ve taken a chance and given him a go.

Thats part of the reason why I would like for him to stay on as Bond.
Too much pressure from the outside to go on a “different” ( like thats gonna get them into heaven) route.
Lord knows what the fuck are they going to do.

They should use the deaging process that Marvel used for Michael Douglas in Ant-Man, and make a new Bond film with early-30’s Sean Connery.
