Give Us The A-Team On Blu-Ray!

It’s better late than never, but we’ve been having a few 1980’s TV shows hit Blu-Ray recently.  We’ve hard Airwolf, all 79 episodes, although the European version comes without the final season, now we’re getting Miami Vice and Knight Rider too.

One thing that stands out to me as clearly missing though is The A-Team.

When I was sent the Airwolf set the first thing I immediately asked was if The A-Team was also on the cards, since it was also by Universal and kind of an even bigger TV show.  The answer was that it was unknown if it was even happening.

You’d think that The A-Team would’ve been first out the door, or at least even spoken of in some capacity by now. All we have to go with for the time being, and too long now, are the old DVD releases.  So I think it makes sense to appeal to Universal to get the ball rolling on this thing.

Even better, get some new extras.  How about a reunion, a blow out documentary, unseen footage.  Whatever you got.  For sure, The A-Team was a part of manly 1980’s TV lore and iconography.  It didn’t even matter that they didn’t kill anyone.

Dirk Benedict called The A-Team the last truly masculine TV show.  Time to put it on Blu-Ray.
