Behind The Scenes: Hard Target 2 (2016)

Here’s a quick new clip from the upcoming John Woo-produced sequel to 1993 classic Hard Target (they need to officially release the damn director’s cut).  Roel Reine, director of The Condemned 2 will helm.  We know that the lead is Scott Adkins and now we know that the villain is none other than Robert Knepper.

Good news if you ask me, this guy is a scumbag supremo.  I totally buy him leading a bum-hunt.

In the second part, human hunting continues in the jungles between Burma and Thailand‘.  Director Roel Reine says of the movie; ‘What an honour to work for one of your idols. Hard Target 2 should be an ode to the old films John Woo was in Hong Kong.’  So will this movie bring the goods?  I guess it might be one of the better DTVs, but who knows.

This movie is released September 6th.

Scott Adkins worked his ass off to make this one look great, no doubt about it. But I’m not really sure how Roel Reine can match the God aka John Fucking Woo
