Shane Black Talks ‘The Predator’

It has been kind of quiet on ‘The Predator’ front, with no real casting information out there yet or at least nothing concrete to my knowledge.  This week Collider has been talking about this movie to director Shane Black.  He spoke about the new casting theme;

“I think it’ll be interesting to get a group of credible guys—the hallmark of the first one is you have guys together that are kinda funny and self-referential and also very tough. I don’t know that we’re going to deviate over much from that, but there are at least a couple of factors that we’ve deliberately chosen to make it not just that group of buff, tough guys.”

Black also says that he’s headed to Vancouver in a week or so to get into some ‘serious’ pre-production and that they hope to start shooting the movie in February.
