First Look At Bruce Willis In Death Wish (2017)
Below are a bunch of candid images of Bruce Willis as Paul Kersey in Death Wish, the remake of the Charles Bronson classic. Don’t know what to make of this, gents, Eli Roth is directing it.
Synopsis: A mild-mannered father is transformed into a killing machine after his family is torn apart by a violent act.
At one point Sylvester Stallone was rumored for this project. At least Stallone would’ve acted, and we don’t know if Willis is even going to bother. Anyway, bonus Bronson clip below just for the hell of it…

He looks bored already. Plus he hasn’t got a wig on for this, which means he’ll just be reading his lines and playing Bruce Willis.

In a perfect world Bruce Willis would wake up tomorrow realizing he’s rebooting a Charles Bronson Classic and owes it to the man to actually give a great performance this time instead of phoning it in. Next thing you know the intense Bruce Willis of Die Hard 1 and Sixth Sense is back,through some miracle the script is old school badass too and all of a sudden we got a manly new Death Wish movie setting the box office on fire and revitalizing the genre starring veteran action stars. None of that will happen but a man can dream.

I’m hopeful this and the Unbreakable sequel might finally light a fire under Bruce again. Not expecting a return to his Die Hard era but I’d settle for 16 Blocks Bruce.
This project has always sounded like a mess though. When Stallone was attached it was being written by the two guys who gave us Terminator 3. Stallone wanted to make Kersey an honest cop who had never used a gun (wtf?), then later hoped to ripoff Taken by making Kersey an ex-con who reverts to his old ways.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kurt Russell, Sylvester Stallone, Liam Neeson, pierce Brosnan, Tommy Lee Jones, Kevin Costner, Don Johnson, Ron Perlman, Dolph Lundgren, Peter Weller, Mel Gibson and Harrison Ford would do a better job with this movie than Bruce Willis. I would rather see Willis finish up the last die hard and make it as good as the first 3. I would like Willis to realize that the fans are important and cannot be ignored. Die hard 6 should not be a prequel. Die hard 6 should be the last sequel involving a Gruber yet again played by none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger taking control of a building in japan, robbing it and getting revenge on John McClane.
