NEWS: KEATON/BATMAN, RAMBO, COBRA KAI

THE REAL BATMAN

A while back it was reported that Michael Keaton was returning as Batman in the upcoming comic movie The Flash.  He’d sort of appear in a ‘multiverse’ story, which would hem together other iterations and characters.

Now though, it sounds like that may not be the case.  Here is what he tells Deadline.com:

“No, you know what it is? I am needing a minute to think about it because I’m so fortunate and blessed, I got so much going on now. I’m really into work right now. I don’t know why, but I am, and so, yeah, I mean, you know, to tell you the truth, somewhere on my iPad is an iteration of the whole ‘Flash’ thing that I haven’t had time yet.

I called them and said, ‘I have to be honest with you. I can’t look at anything right now. I’m so deep into this thing I’m doing. Also, I’m prepping a thing I’m producing and getting ready to do down the road in the fall that I’ll be in, and I feel responsible to that.’ So, yeah, there is that.

I’m not being cute or coy. If I talked about it, I’ll be just bulls–tting you. I don’t really know. I have to look at the last draft. To be honest with you, you know what worries me more than anything about all this stuff?…It’s Covid. I’m more concerned. I keep my eye more on the Covid situation in the UK than anything. That will determine everything.

That’s why I’m living outside the city here on 17 acres, staying away from everybody, because the Covid thing has got me really concerned. So, that’s my first thing about all projects. I look at it and go, is this thing going to kill me, literally? And you know, if it doesn’t, then we talk.”

With all the excitement, maybe we’d forgotten one important possibility: This film could be the drizzling shits, and a blemish on an otherwise two-for-two outing for the real Batman’s history.  The last DC movie I watched, actually, I couldn’t even finish it, was the epic pile of shit known as Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

Maybe some things are better left alone?

RAMBO V

Sylvester Stallone has been teasing the availability now to fans of the ‘Heart Stopper’, the epic blade that appeared in Rambo: Last Blood. What a beaut she is, although in my opinion still not as good as the knife that appeared in Rambo II, the best knife of the series.

COBRA KAI

It’s not much to go on, but apparently above we see how Sensei Silver will look in his supposedly confirmed return to the Karate Kid universe for Cobra Kai: Season 4.  It is filming around now and this is apparently how Thomas Ian Griffin will look.

Notable because having retired 14 years ago, he doesn’t bother showing up anywhere much, even on the internet, so many have no idea what he looks like these days.

Anyway, it is sure to be the greatest moment in TV history!
