NEW BRUCE WILLIS MOVIE IS… QUITE FAMILIAR

AMERICAN SIEGE

Here is the trailer for American Siege.  The movie wrapped filming a year ago and has had a budget of $10 million.  Edward John Drake directed the film, obviously starring Bruce Willis.

Synopsis: In American Siege, Willis’ character must take down a gang of thieves after they take a wealthy doctor hostage.

You know, reading that synopsis, it seemed quite familiar.  A rich doctor in his country house being set upon by pissants who besiege/take hostage those within.  It reminds me on a different Bruce Willis movie that was released just last year.

That movie was called Survive the Night (reviewed here) with the following synopsis: A disgraced doctor and his family are held hostage at their home by criminals on the run.

In both movies Willis is saving a rich doctor in his country home from pissant hostage takers/thieves.  For those wondering, Willis now is now releasing one movie every five weeks.  This ratio appears to be the same for 2022, but he may beat that record because there could be a few for the back end of 2022 still not revealed.

It’s fairly possible that Bruce Willis could release a new movie every month in 2022.

However it’s not all bad.  With Willis firing from the hip and releasing one movie every five weeks, sooner or later one of them has to turn out ‘okay’.  I propose that there’s a good chance that Deadlock might be that movie.  Here is the trailer for that one.  In this one, old Walter_B goes on a rampage and ain’t gon’ take it anymore.
