JOSEPH GORDON LEVITT JOINS BEVERLY HILLS COP 4, NEW TITLE

Production of Beverly Hills Cop 4 seems to be underway.  Some pieces of news are coming through about this movie.  According to MovieWeb, the movie is titled Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley.  In addition, Joseph Gordon Levitt has joined the cast.

They also say that Taylour Paige has joined the cast.

There doesn’t seem to be much else going around in terms of locked information at the minute, John Ashton has voiced a desire to appear in the movie.  Judge Reinhold is rumored.  Ronny Cox, apparently, isn’t yet retired.  So he’s technically possible.

The story supposedly revolves around corruption in the Beverly Hills Police Department and will feature Axel Foley’s estranged daughter.

The title though… Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley?  It’s like a literal copy/paste of Top Gun: Maverick!  But somehow it doesn’t work, or is it just me?
