RoboCop 2, one of the best sequels ever (it fucking is), featured a rare .50 anti-materiel rifle. That was the Pauza P50, by Pauza Specialties. You won’t hear about this weapon too much, since only 36 were produced.
However YouTuber Brandon Herrera has reminded us all of its existence. The weapon is analyzed in the video above.
You will remember that RoboCop used this weapon against Robocop 2/Cain near the end of the movie, firing from the hip, the stopping power clearly affecting the otherwise near-invulnerable machine.
So a nice look at a rare weapon and obviously not the same Barrett .50/Cobra Assault Cannon from the first movie, which uses some type of fictional incendiary rounds. RoboCop uses one of those to destroy an ED-209 unit in the first movie, but it could be argued that that weapon would be reckless in use among civilians as scene here.
