Original Terminator Gets Re-Release Run

Terminator: Genisys won’t be the only up and coming Terminator movie you’ll be able to catch on the big screen soon.   MGM is giving fans of the franchise a treat with plans to re-release the original “The Terminator” in twenty territories around the world starting June 14th in the United States and June 23rd in the UK.

The re-release is expected to be on close to 1,000 screens, and a trailer for the screenings has been assembled.  The film is also set to get a Blu-ray re-release, with Japan getting that first for undisclosed reasons.  Also undisclosed is whether or not that one (or this one, the theatrical run) will be a remaster, which would very important.
