Tony Jaa, Michael Jai White Set For Never Back Down 3

If anyone has been keeping up with the “Never Back Down” series then your ears might prick up when you hear that a third movie is on the horizon, with Michael Jai White set to return.  And return with none other than Tony Jaa.

White states he will be leaving for Thailand in three weeks, and also updated Nukthefridge on casting, stating in part..
“We’ve got some of the top ones but the ink’s not dry yet. Tony Jaa’s going to make an appearance and also Jeeja [Yanin] is going to be in it. Also I’ll be joined by Josh Barnett who is the most celebrated heavyweight MMA champion ever. There’ll be some fights between Josh and I.”

Michael Jai White is also set to appear alongside “Stone Cold” Steve Austin later this year in the upcoming thriller “Echo Effect”, as well as his appearing in the currently releasing “Skin Trade”.  Can’t keep a good man down!

    Now folks..
allow mua to make a case for “Never Back Down”
N.B.D. is like the M.M.A. version of The Karate Kid. New kid in town likes a girl, new kid in town goes to a party , new kid in town encounters girls bf, New kid gets his ass kicked, new kid gets his ass kicked some more, New kid starts training..which leads to 1 of the best & greatest things in life> Training Montages!!
    I fuckin love training montages
the greatest training montage movie is “Rocky 4”
“Never Back Down” was a better Karate Kid remake than the real Karate Kid remake.
    It’s a bit cheesy ,yes..
but if u like fight movies
    “N.B.D.” it’s entertaining.
    so i recommend it.
btw..part 2 has nothin to do with part 1 except for 1 character & i didn’t like it as much.
btw..Tony Jaa should be gettin more mainstream fare..i thought “Furious 7” was a good start for him

Definitely this generation’s Karate Kid. It’s almost a perfect successor. All it needed was some cheese synthpop and it would’ve been the GOAT MMA-Kid movie.

Look out for the Johnny/Durden-esque perfomance by Cam Gigandet (The Experiment).

Great to find someone else enjoy it.
        i love the karate kid.
& this movie it’s kinda like dat. I listed the reasons why. U are right about the soundtrack & Cam Gigantet..he was a snub, rich , bully that u see often but he played d role really well.
Plus u got Amber Heard in a bikini..
        the movie is cool.
MMA -kid..thats is what it shouldve been called.
        awesome dude👍
