Mike Tyson Joins Kickboxer: Retaliation

It seems they’re moving speedily ahead with Kickboxer 2, even though the first isn’t out yet.  For clarification, the first movie is called ‘Kickboxer: Vengeance’, a remake starring Alain Moussi, Dave Bautista and Jean Claude Van Damme.  That movie is released in September.

The second movie, already moving forward, is called ‘Kickboxer: Retaliation’.  And now Mike Tyson has officially joined the cast of that movie.

In the second movie Kurt is brought back forcibly to Thailand to fend for his life against a new formidable foe played by Hafpor Julius Bjornsson, best known as The Mountain on ‘Game of Thrones’. Tyson will portray a tough convict forced into a world of fighting behind bars.

Odd choice of promotion, some may get the two movies confused…
