Five Reasons Terminator 3 Was Fucking Awful
1) Comedy
The single worst thing about Terminator 3 is the comedy. The whole male strip joint thing was a crying shame, not only a lazy rip off of the bar scene arrival in the second film, but apparently concocted by someone who remembered it, but also didn’t care about it, nor had a sense of humor.
Let me tell you, ‘talk to the hand’ may very well be the four words that killed the Terminator franchise.
From that point on, there was no recovering this film, especially when it was used again. Add to that, ‘I like your gun’ and other excruciating one liners. Along with a general theme of having Arnold prance around in the movie like a clown.
In fact, I think a ‘funny’ R-rated Terminator 3 might actually be worse than a ‘gritty’ PG-13 Terminator: Salvation.
