Peyton Directing The Rock In “Rampage”

San Andreas director Brad Peyton will again team up with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to appear in upcoming video game adaptation “Rampage”.

Ryan Engle (Non-Stop) will pen the script, although a director has yet to be attached. Johnson is currently starring in  HBO series “Ballers“, and the production of this new film will have to come after he wraps on Fast & Furious 8, as well as Central Intelligence (also for New Line). The Johnson / Flynn partnership has been a profitable one for New Line so far, and unlike the world Johnson tries to save in their movies, that aspect doesn’t seem to be in any danger.

The Rock has already made a badass video game, “Doom” is about ten years old now, anyone remember that?
