Trailer: The Purge: Election Year

Another on the list of ‘I’d forgotten they were even making that’.  Here is the trailer for The Purge: Election Year courtesy of Universal.

Lost veteran Elizabeth Mitchell plays Senator Charlie Rowan, a rising political star who’s campaigning on a promise to stop the violent annual bacchanal after it ruined her family; Frank Grillo returns as the Purge veteran tasked with protecting her.

The question is, can it stand up to Rampage: President Down?  You can check out The Purge 3 in theaters on July 1st.  I somehow doubt it will be the last, probably not a bad thing.
