Daniel Craig is kind of getting on in years as Bond, but probably age-wise as well. It’s something that helped him win the role in the first place. Back in the day, Henry Cavill was denied for such a reason, as in being too young.
Now though, he’s closer to the right age and with talk that Craig may leave the scene, Cavill could he be a potential candidate again. The actor appeared on BBC’s “The Graham Norton Show” recently and he was asked if he would consider taking over the iconic role should his schedule allow it. He responded:
“I’m very busy with the Superman stuff, but if there were any windows and they wanted me to do that kind of role, it would be great. I would love to do it.”
The likes of Tom Hiddleston, Luke Evans, Tom Hardy and Idris Elba have all been mentioned as potential candidates for the part.
