Alec Baldwin Set For Thriller ‘Shock And Awe’

Richard Schiff is closing his deal to join Rob Reiner’s upcoming “Shock and Awe” at Acacia Filmed Entertainment and Voltage Films.  The movie is also set to star Alec Baldwin and Jessica Biel.

The film follows a group of journalists who asked the tough questions about Saddam Hussein’s alleged WMDs after the Bush administration sold the Iraq War to the American public and via speeches in the United Nations.  Biel plays the significant other of James Marsden’s character, although it’s unclear which role Alec Baldwin will have.

Actually, Woody Harrelson and Tommy Lee Jones are also pegged to star.  The smart money is on Jones playing one of the Bush admin boys.  George and Michele Reiner are producing and filming kicks off next month.
