Look what we have above.  It’s an exceptionally rare documentary for Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation.  If you’re having difficulty recalling which one that was… it’s ‘the one with Matthew McConaughey driving around in a pickup’.

I mean okay, the film might be a bit shitty but there are certainly people who will find this interesting.

Originally released in ’94 and then again in ’97, Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation should originally have had a documentary directed by Brian Huberman, but while it was created, it was shelved indefinitely. Even today, the doc has never made it onto any home video release of the film, but it has finally been unearthed.

The 1996 documentary features in-depth insights from Kim Henkel as well as all kinds of never-before-seen footage from the set, documenting everything from stunts to makeup applications. It even contains behind-the-scenes footage of both McConaughey and Zellweger. It’s titled The Return of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Documentary, reflecting the film’s original title.

Going off topic a bit…

Years ago on the IMDb I spotted a lengthy thread by a fan of Andrew Bryniarski, the man who played Leatherface in the 2003 and 2006 movies.  He uploaded screenshots of a conversation he allegedly had with Bryniarski on Facebook where he paid the actor a compliment, with the actor taking it the wrong way then suffering a raging meltdown threatening to sue the fan and take possession of his house.
