UPDATED: Statham’s Super Bowl Truck Chase

UPDATED:  Here’s more from Statham and Gadot.  This time they’re in a 60 second truck chase for Wix’s new Super Bowl commercial.  I’m kind of glad Statham has stuck to his action movie/manly movie guns after all these years and not shown desperation to go ‘legit’.

Jason Statham has appeared in a new 30-second ad, debuting this week on YouTube Live and Facebook Live. A chef works on his restaurant’s website in the kitchen of the establishment. Meanwhile, an action movie fight sequence with Statham and Gal Gadot is happening at the front of the house, eventually resulting in the restaurant being blown up by a firebomb.

Thanks to Wix, though, the chef seamlessly transitions to creating a website for his new business, a gourmet food truck.

The ad ends with the tagline, “To succeed in a disruptive world, Wix makes it easy to create your own website.”

This ad will supposedly appear at the Super Bowl, so to pay for Statham, Gadot and that slot means Wix must have thrown solid gold into their advertising budget.
