We’ve been hammering on Bruce Willis a lot on here. There is no perhaps, it’s definitely deserved. His recent movies have been terrible and worse, he’s deliberately no-showing in terms of screen time. But 2016 may have hit a new low for Willis.
Maybe now we’re into sad and tragic territory.
His movie, Precious Cargo, perhaps hit the very lowest point in Willis’ career. According to The Telegraph, a very large British newspaper; ‘Bruce Willis film Precious Cargo flops embarrassingly after taking just £86 at the UK box office’.
Now this news is kind of old and I only just found it, and the UK is not as big a market as the U.S., and it only had a limited run, but isn’t this shocking? Indeed, the film was terrible. Really, really bad – I gave it a 3/10.
I think the only things that can save Willis now; a heartfelt sea change and a real deal, skinned knuckles Die Hard sequel that reminds all of these new poser movies how it’s done. Or is Willis beyond redemption?
Oh and why am I dragging up buried news from July about poor Bruno movies? Well, the film actually had a really cool intro song and I was looking for it again and stumbled upon the above by accident. Here it is;
