Amazon Developing Conan TV Series

I’m not sure where The Legend of Conan/Conan 3 is at presently, but Arnold Schwarzenegger sure does need it after the shit show that has been his recent output.  It’s the one film that can save Arnold at the minute, done properly.

In relation to that, I don’t know what the following news means for that project, per Deadline:

Amazon is developing drama series Conan, based on the books by Robert E. Howard, Deadline has learned. The project hails from Colony co-creator Ryan Condal, Game of Thrones director Miguel Sapochnik, Fargo and The Handmaid’s Tale executive producer Warren Littlefield, Pathfinder Media and Endeavor Content.

Supposedly the show goes back to the origins of the character, so obviously this means no Schwarzenegger.  It doesn’t necessarily mean the movie is dead though, Lethal Weapon 5 is still (sort of?) planned to run alongside the TV show.
