Strike Back Renewed For Another Season

Strike Back has been renewed for another season according to Cinemax.  Its sixth with its current network and seventh overall.

The most recent fifth season, which will end in a few weeks, serves as a mini-reboot of the series with the previous two leads departing as several new faces and a more ensemble-driven style came in.

The latest series has been interesting because it has featured the nerve agent Novichok as a plot device, the same agent allegedly used in the recent poisoning of a Russian double agent (aired before the incident in England), with a Russian killing another agent in the series with the same substance.

Warren Brown, Daniel MacPherson, Roxanne McKee, Alin Sumarwata, Nina Sosanya, Katherine Kelly and Trevor Eve co-star.
