THE MINUTEMAN
Liam Neeson will star in a new action/thriller according to Deadline.
In The Minuteman, the Cartel will seek to kill a young boy who (presumably) knows too much about something. But they don’t reckon on Neeson’s Vietnam Veteran killer getting in the way, and deciding to become the boy’s protector.
The film will be directed by Robert Lorenz.
THE LONG NIGHT
Elsewhere, Bruce Willis is himself headed for another action/thriller of his own. In The Long Night, Bruce Willis will play a doctor who suffers a home invasion by a pair of pissants, one of whom has been shot and needs help.
Unable to provide the surgery necessary, Willis must act to protect his family.
The pic marks the 16th collaboration between Willis and producers Randall Emmett and George Furla. It’s also the second feature between the Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films CEOs and co-founders and Eskandari following Trauma Center, which also stars Willis and is in post.
PREDATOR: HUNTING GROUNDS
Isn’t it odd that this new teaser trailer for Predator: Hunting Grounds, a Playstation game, is superior to Shane Black’s The Predator? No radical departures, no nonsense, just Predator-ish.
Revealed during Sony’s State of Play, Predator Hunting Grounds is an online competitive multiplayer shooter coming to PlayStation in 2020. No word yet on a single player, but it is doubtful and that would be a pity!
FORCE OF NATURE
Finally, the GOAT will star in Force of Nature.
Alongside Kate Bosworth, he will play a cop who must protect the remaining residents of a building in the midst of a hurricane evacuation while violent criminals attempt to pull off a mysterious heist within the building. Gibson plays the stubborn retired detective who refuses to evacuate, and fights back when the thieves show up at his doorstep.
Come on now… it sells itself!
