ESCAPE PLAN 3: THE EXTRACTORS
Here is a trailer for Escape Plan 3: The Extractors. It already looks better than the execrable Escape Plan 2: Hades, but that wouldn’t be too hard! Sylvester Stallone and Dave Bautista return for this threequel.
SYNOPSIS: Screen legend Sylvester Stallone kicks this explosive action tale into high gear. After security expert Ray Breslin (Stallone) is hired to rescue the kidnapped daughter of a Hong Kong tech mogul from a formidable Latvian prison, Breslin’s girlfriend (Jaime King) is also captured. Now he and his team, which includes Dave Bautista and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, must pull off a deadly rescue mission to confront their sadistic foe and save the hostages before time runs out.
On Digital 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital July 2.
Interesting trivia: They’re using the same film location for The Shawshawnk Redemption.
ROTHCHILD
It looks like the GOAT is going to team up with Shia LaBeouf, with both playing Rothchilds, whom some call humanity’s answer to real Bond villains.
the film is said to take a dark and comedic look at New York’s super-rich, with Gibson set to play the patriarch of one of the wealthiest families in the area.
LaBeouf plays Becket Rothchild, the son of a former Rothchild family wife who eloped with a jazz musician.
I can definitely see LaBeouf and Gibson trolling the fuck out of these people… why do I get a feeling it’s going to be a nine on the tension scale there, Rube…?
BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC
This is just a film that I really just want to see the fuck out of right now. For some reason it is just needed. And no more speculation for Bill & Ted 3, this thing is happening.
THR says the film has been snapped up by Warner Bros. for the U.K., with MGM striking a multiterritory deal that includes Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, Latin America, Greece, South America, the Middle East, India and Pan Asia Pay Television.
It commences filming in a matter of weeks.
SEIZED
The always reliable Scott Adkins is teaming up with Mario Van Peebles for the Isaac Florentine-directed Seized.
In the movie, a former special forces agent’s son is kidnapped and if he wants to see him alive again, then he must complete three missions in under 5 hours before his son dies. His missions are to wipe out three dangerous drug cartels.
Here is a poster for the film…
Sounds like there might be a sort of Die Hard with a Vengeance theme going on there, with the protagonist forced to involve himself in precarious and violent encounters at the behest of a madman.
UNHINGED
Russell Crowe will star in the film Unhinged, a movie about a man who goes batshit after a woman holds the horn down too long, whilst remonstrating against him in an automobile dispute. Written by Red Eye screenwriter Carl Ellsworth and produced by Solstice Studios. Per Solstice’s announcement: “Unhinged takes an ordinary, everyday incident to its most terrifying conclusion in telling the story of a mother who leans on her horn at the wrong time, to the wrong guy (played by Crowe). ‘Road rage’ doesn’t begin to describe what he’s about to do to her and everyone she knows.”
As usual… ‘coulda been better with Nic Cage’ rule applies for this type of movie?
