Gervais Commits Career Suicide

They just had the Golden Globes there, with ‘actor’ (? ‘personality’?) Ricky Gervais showing up to go on a rant.  This might exonerate him from his anti Gibson blaspheming.

If Gervais ever had a career, or has one, it’s probably over now with a public display of career disembowelment.  Gervais sought to pre-empt lamentable ‘woke’ millionaires as he warned guests not to make political speeches when accepting awards because ‘you’re in no position to the public about anything’, before adding: ‘Thank your agent and your god and then fuck off’.

You say you’re woke but the companies you work for in China — unbelievable. Apple, Amazon, Disney. If ISIS started a streaming service you’d call your agent, wouldn’t you?’

Actually, Gervais will not ‘never work in Hollywood again’ because he never really did.  He also informed the audience that Jeffrey Epstein didn’t kill himself.
