Liam Neeson appears to be continuing his streak of manly action/thrillers. Next will be Memory, which will be an English-language remake of the 2003 Dutch film. Casino Royale director Martin Campbell will direct.
Neeson is set to portray the role of an expert assassin with a reputation for discreet precision. When he refuses to complete a job for a dangerous criminal organization, he suddenly becomes a target and must go on the hunt for those who want him dead. The English remake is written by Dario Scardapane.
Memory will be executive produced by Black Bear Pictures’ Teddy Schwarzman, Michael Heimler and Ben Stillman with Rupert Maconick, Arthur Sarkissian and Welle Entertainment’s Cathy Schulman set as producers. STXinternational will be handling international sales for the film.
