NEW ALIEN TV SERIES SET ON EARTH

X chief John Landgraf has announced that Alien director Ridley Scott is in advanced talks to executive produce a TV series set on earth, set within the Alien universe.  Fargo (TV series) creator Noah Hawley is set to be creative producer.

The aim is to “blend both the timeless horror of the first ‘Alien’ film with the non-stop action of the second, it’s going to be a scary thrill ride that will blow people back in their seats.”

That may be the aim on paper, but since this is Noah Hawley we’re talking about, you may be advised to look at the Fargo TV series to get an idea of what Hawley might do to this property.  The second series in particular was some of the most bald-faced propaganda ever put into a TV series, with so much feminist bullet points rammed down the viewer’s through that even ANTIFA would probably say ‘enough’.

Hawley is ‘creative producer’, which in this day and age in the west translates to: political officer.  We already know that Ridley Scott has lost his marbles, so his influence will at best be neutral.

What exactly can you do with an Earth-based prequel, anyway?  There are no Xenomorphs. Let’s get real here, the reason they won’t do a series in the timeline of Aliens is because they don’t want to spend money on Aliens-tier sets and production, the same reason we never got a real AVP movie.
