You’ll notice that Terry Crews has not been mentioned in any coverage for this new Expendables movie. Crews, like Randy Couture for instance, was always one of the ‘support’ stars to bolster the more nostalgic icons, so it seemed like he’d always be back when they’d need him.
Now, TMoney has taken to Twitter to comment on this issue:
The best thing about being uninvited to the cookout…
Is you never drank the koolaid

Crews has been ‘uninvited to the cookout’. In case there was any doubt about what it is that Terry Crews was referring to, he then clarified it in another Tweet:
What are you talking about? I have plenty of Black friends.
My tweet was my response to not being invited back to the Expendables, although I wish them well. https://t.co/vVSIcQUQCQ

In 2018, Crews accused Lerner of making a phone call to his manager in which he said Lerner threatened to introduce difficulties into Crews’ career unless Crews dropped his case against Hollywood talent agency William Morris Endeavor, employers of agent and founding member Adam Venit. It’s hard not to side with Crews on this one.
So, has Avi Lerner blacklisted Crews for this movie and series? It looks that way. Lerner is probably also the reason there will be no Steven Seagal in this series. In 2005, Seagal sued Lerner when he alleged that Lerner screwed him out of payments and told bald faced lies.
So… maybe some people are wondering why Jackie Chan, the other ‘only remaining’ name who has opted not to work on this series. Maybe a good question is… can you blame him?
