NEWS: CONTRACTOR, GLADIATOR 2, KEATON’S 3RD BATSUIT…

THE CONTRACTOR

Here is the trailer for The Contractor, starring Chris Pine. It looks like it could be good, but the trailer is mildly SPOILERISH in my opinion, looks like one to go in blind on.

Synopsis: After being involuntarily discharged from the Marines, James Harper joins a paramilitary organization in order to support his family in the only way he knows how.

Directed by Tarik Saleh, it is released on the 1st of April.

BATMAN

Here is a look at Michael Keaton’s third Batman getup, in Batgirl.

That’s not Keaton though, it’s his stunt double.  There’s something about that suit that looks ‘loose’ or something.  Maybe it’s a stunt scene/suit, who knows.  This is why studios get really pissed about leaks, and send desist orders (trust me, I’ve gotten ’em, but Warner Bros’ lawyers for example are the nicest guys in the world, believe it or not – or maybe they like the site!).  It’s not a good reveal, in my opinion.  They’ll probably show it properly later.

GLADIATOR 2

He’s still tooting that Gladiator 2 horn.

During an interview with Collider, director Ridley Scott revealed that Gladiator 2 was ready to move along: “Oh, it’s been written,” he confirmed. “It’s already been written. We have a good footprint, a good, logical place to go. You can’t just do another Gladiator type movie. You’ve got to follow… there’s enough components from the first one to pick up the ball and continue it.”
