With The Expendables 4 in post-production and having filmed last year and with some starring in the movie claiming it was coming out in 2022, news has come that this will not be the case. ScreenDaily is now saying 2023:
Millennium is best known for its Expendables, Has Fallen and Hitman’s Bodyguard franchises. Last week at CinemaCon in Las Vegas North American distributor Lionsgate teased The Expendables 4 led by Jason Statham. The action tentpole is in post and expected to open in 2023.

For good and bad the story is actually about trying to prevent a nuclear war between The United States and Russia. So there you go. Hopefully we won’t be there in real life. But it’s kind of an entertaining, fantasy version of that.
