More Info On Point Break Remake – It Gets Worse

The original is a Manly Movie classic, so to have it rebooted/rejigged… whatever the fuck, is questionable from the outset.

But downright insulting when more information becomes apparent.

The first information that came out was that the movie was going to star Gerard Butler, not so bad, but then they also said suggested that the movie would involve ‘mini cams‘ and that sounded an awful lot like we were headed down that tired old ‘shaking’ alley where you basically can’t see shit.

Today, more info.  Not good.

Apparently, “The script is very different from the original, according to Johnson the only thing being carried over is the nature of the character dynamic between Utah and Bodhi and their relationship… The narrative of the movie is different. While we do have surfing in the film, it is only a subset of the extreme sports that we deal with, including free-climbing, motocross, wing-suiting and so forth.

The film will be converted in 3D, not shot in 3D due to the cameras being utilised having to be on the small side.”
