Miller Hypes “110 Min Chase” In Fury Road

There has been a lot of talk about the pacing and aggressiveness of Mad Max: Fury Road.  The stuff we’ve been hearing for a while is that it’s wall-to-wall action, or “80% action”.  That might sound unrealistic, but it was semi-confirmed at Comic-Con.  Now George Miller has weighed in on this again.

He tells Total Film Magazine:

“I wanted to tell a linear story — a chase that starts as the movie begins and keeps going for 110 minutes”

Miller also hyped the inclusion and use of 150 vehicles.  All of this sounds highly promising.  Miller seems to understand action pacing, intent and production.  The last thing we need is another action movie trying to sell silly subtexts using a ton of CGI.  From what Miller is saying this thing is going to be honest and old school.
