“Fast & Furious” director Justin Lin is in talks to get behind the camera for several episodes of the second season of HBO’s “True Detective”, reports Variety.
Lin wont helm every episode of the season as the original director did for the show’s first season – it’s also not yet known how many episodes the director will handle.
Colin Farrell, Taylor Kitsch and Vince Vaughn are late negotiations to join the show’s second season with the fourth lead, intended to be a female character not confirmed. It is said that Rachel McAdams and “Mad Men’s” Elizabeth Moss are being considered.
Season 2 will be set in California. Nic Pizzolatto is writing the season which will reportedly revolve around an investigation into a corrupt city manager who gets murdered amidst a potential groundbreaking transportation deal. Speaking of Fast & Furious directors, I think James Wan, also the director of Saw, might have been even better no?
