Tyrese Gibson To Star In “Desert Eagle”

“Fast and Furious” long-term star Tyrese Gibson has co-written an upcoming action spec script “Desert Eagle” with Mike Le and Universal Pictures has optioned the property to serve as a star vehicle for the actor and musician.

The story follows a pair of border patrol agents investigate a drug cartel being operated out of a Native American reservation casino.

Matthew Stuecken and Josh Campbell will rewrite the script. Scott Stuber will produce.  Gibson will appear this April in the upcoming “Furious 7”.
