Rumour: John Travolta Playing The Villain In The Expendables 4

After The Expendables 3 comes the inevitable Expendables 4.  As we reported way back in November, Avi Lerner let slip that he had plans for an Expendables 4, to take place in Cuba, as well as a Rambo V.  So nevermind all this ‘one last ride’ stuff.

After Pierce Brosnan mentioned his possible involvement, now comes the second rumoured name for the movie: John Travolta.

Here is what MovieCricket has to say: “The latest rumour that has reached our ears is that John Travolta is being considered for the next Expendables movie, not as a hero who will join ranks of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Harrison Ford, Jason Statham and the rest, but join the leagues of villains that take on the Expendables, like Mel Gibson, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Eric Roberts”.

Take with a grain of salt though.  Even if there is substance to this rumour, things can and will probably change between now and next August, when the movie will probably shoot.
