Rumor: Biehn And Hamilton In Terminator 5?
Did anyone actually care when Thor 2 director Alan Taylor was said to be in talks to direct Terminator 5? To be honest, James Cameron was right when he said “the soup has been pissed in“, Terminator 3 fucked up canon and Terminator Salvation just added insult to injury. How much worse can it get? It can’t get any worse, can it? It might. Another rumor today appears, suggesting that not only will Schwarzenegger return (we already knew that) but also Michael Biehn and Linda Hamilton. The source is the Mirror, long rumored to just make shit up as they go. But man, if that was true, it was be sad and tragic. While it wouldn’t be so bad if they were going to retcon Terminator 3 and 4, which could explain Hamilton’s age, it doesn’t need to be pointed out that Kyle Reese, Tech-Com Forces soldier, was KIA before age 30.
So basically, it’s just a joke at this point. Terminator is now but a property right being passed around like a cheap hooker. The only man who could have saved this franchise (not Schwarzenegger as that article suggests) has moved on. Time the rest of us did too?
