Updated: Mel Gibson Lands In Bulgaria, Video & Pics

We have no pictures yet, but we can confirm that Mel Gibson has arrived in Bulgaria, for his role as villain Conrad Stonebanks in The Expendables 3.  The source, standartnews.com, says that Mel has arrived alone…“Gibson comes without bodyguards”.  They also say that fans waited a long time to see Mel arrive: “Dozens of fans of megastar waited until late last night before vipa at Sofia Airport for an autograph.”  The article also says that Mel has vowed to not get involved with any women while in Bulgaria (huh?) and that the house he’ll be staying in is a gorgeous property in Boyana.  Mel also told fans that he’s “Very happy to be here” and that his stay will last a few weeks, which is good to hear – it won’t be a glorified cameo.  The same sources reveal a stuntman crew of 100 – impressive!
