The Fast & The Furious Director Remaking Road House

After the news that Patrick Swayze actioner ‘Point Break’ is getting the remake treatment, turns out there’s more news on a Swayze remake, this time Manly Movie classic ‘Road House’.  TheHollywoodReporter says it’s happening.  Remakes are rarely good news, but I think this one might be worth keeping an eye on.  It’s being directed by Rob Cohen, who directed the first (and best) Fast & Furious movie.  It was never a huge franchise – yes, there was a sequel:  Road House 2: The Last Call, so if it doesn’t work out and the remake hurtin’ comes… well, pain don’t hurt for real Manly Men and we’ll deal with it.  We’re going to be nice… until it’s time to not be nice.
